There is no make-up to hide emotional abuse

There is no make-up to hide emotional abuse

By The Lucky Servant

When we hear the words "violence against ....." The first picture that comes to mind is that of a man beating his woman to a pulp. The young men we see on TV beating each other senseless in a boxing ring or at wrestle mania are usually far away from our minds when these words are mentioned.
And the other thing that's furthest way from our minds is emotional abuse. Or what I'd like to call emotional violence.

Since we are just ending the 16 days of activism against women and children. I will be more focused on the abuse against these fragile creatures who are supposed to be nurtured by the caregivers of this world. The head of families. But instead of nurturing these creatures, what these other creatures decide to do is abuse them senseless. And the most damaging abuse of them all is emotional. Many women do not wear the scars that come with this kind of violence. Even the Bible says that there is no need to fear he who can only cause bodily harm, but instead fear He who can destroy the soul/spirit. And even cast it in hell. This clearly shows us how much more important inner-peace is. But for the creatures facing this abuse of the soul and spirit, living in constant fear is the norm for them. They are usually at the mercy of their abusers. There is nothing more painful that living in uncertainty. Not knowing what's coming at you. We all think we don't like routine. That we love spontaneity. But every human being wants to reach a point of contentment. Contentment that's just enough for normal functioning. But most women we see on the streets looking amazingly beautiful are usually dead women walking. Living in a living hell because of the traps set by their manipulative and conniving/scheming abusers.

The person is always holding on to her cellphone. Not because she is obsessed with the little device like the rest of humanity but because should she miss a call from her lover, she's assured of some form of harassment and threats during the day. Accusations about her motives.
And at the end of the day after a hard day at work, she always has to be guessing what her lover or hater wants. She is supposed to know what he is thinking even when he is just angrily watching a soccer match. These men are also usually prisoners of their own prison. And these women are usually so attached to their haters, that they cannot imagine a life without them. Sometimes even when they are the breadwinners. Take care of your spirit and soul before you can put make-up on your face and face the world because a nourished soul always radiates on the outside. That's what positive and motivational people would say.
