Dan Kenosi Clarifies Rumours..

Upon starting the interview Daniel Kenosi clarified rumours that he is a jilted ex-lover out to get his ex-girlfriend after she had moved on to “greener” pastures. “She is not my ex-friend. We were just friends.”

But you know what rumours are circulating around? That she is your ex-girlfriend.


“I know what people are saying but I don’t think I have to explain myself. I am not a public figure. I am not a celebrity. So there is no reason for me to explain myself to anybody.”

Kenosi further explained that he and the young lady behind the whole controversial issue had been friends for a year or so. He said that she then started posting defamatory things about him on her Facebook wall.

“I warned her via inbox to stop it but she did not listen. I explain to her that I didn't like her statuses and her comments. I even reported the posts to Facebook. You know on Facebook there is an option where you can report a post?”
Kenosi added that to top it all, all the posts were lies. “When you sum it all up, it was all a bunch of lies and some very bad things about me.”

What do you think motivated her to post those things?

“I don’t know.”

Were you friends?

“We were friends of course but not boyfriend and girlfriend. We were not intimate. We were just buddies.”

Did you have a fall-out that might have caused her to post those things on her wall?

“Maybe it’d be best to hear it from her side. To understand why she did it and what pushed or drove her to post such things about me. I am still wondering as well. She is the one that can give a better explanation as to why she did that."

How did you get the screenmuch?

“Simple. In my own way but I did not steal it.”

Haven’t you gotten any threats for exposing the Minister?

“I have not gotten genuine threats from anyone nor the Minister himself. We were together the other day and he did not give out any threats. The only threats I have received were from some members of the public. You know as the public we view things in different ways. Some people would inbox me ba re ke ma DIS or something like that but in any way I have no fear. I fear no one but only God. You know on Facebook someone can go and create a pseudo name a bo a ta go go attacker ka pseudo name but who cares? I don’t care if someone threatens.”

Where were you together with Rre Mokaila?

"At GICC the other day. For the press conference of his ministry."
